ABOUT ME
Love, joy, connection, and a playful nature can shift our focus from emotional wounding to emotional balance.
This understanding has influenced how I choose to exist in the world.
I have spent my life deeply in love with Gaia’s sacrosanct presence and her seasonal rhythms. At an early age I found sanctuary in nature and began to deeply listen to the Earth’s myriad voices. It is clear to me that this connection informs both the way I navigate the world and my natural sense of wonder, creativity, and love.
Having lived in many parts of the United States growing up, and then decades of residing in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, the land of the Ute people, I now call home the beautiful region north of San Francisco Bay on the unceded lands of the Miwok and Pomo indigenous peoples.
My personal journey has focused on moving into sobriety when I became a mother, working through childhood trauma, a catastrophic injury, and my commitment to personal and spiritual develpment. It has been one of an intensive education with a variety of sacred plant medicines in Peru, Costa Rica, and the United States within two Mestizo lineages and with many medicine people.
Embracing holistic healing practices, transformative ceremonial experiences, and expressing
the divine feminine through art, dance, and living vibrantly has been
a natural and important part of my life. In addition to my sacred plant medicine studies, I have learned supportive modalities such as meditation, art therapy, Reiki, compassionate listening, yoga, dance, ritual, guided meditation, all within a relationship with the divine feminine and the elementals of air, earth, fire, and water.
After embracing Pagan and Native American spiritual practices while working with mentors and in women’s empowerment circles, and a decades long therapeutic practice with psychedelics, I trained for several years with an Ayahuasca Maestra (female Mestizo lineage) and a Maestro in Peru (Mestizo lineage) at La Medicina Ayahuasca Retreat Center. Under their guidance I have completed several plant dietas to strengthen my work in the psychedelic healing space as well as my own shadow work process. I continue to expand my practice and learning/teaching through a mindful expansion of love and compassionate awareness combined with a Mindful Coaching approach, and an openness to the ancient wisdom of plant teachers and life’s journey.
This deep investigation has made me a more centered, compassionate, connected, loving, patient, disciplined, and playful person. It is my privilege to share this knowledge and way of being, which has lead me to coaching and ceremonial facilitation.
I use a ceremonial-based approach to my work - I believe nature, play and art add joy to life, relieve stress, and connect people to love-of-self and the world around them.
I deeply believe that this new/old way of being will benefit the world in ways we can only imagine.I continue to expand the impact of this work by collaborating with people and organizations that are advocates of consciousness-expanding therapies, and
who give back to the land and peoples these ancient practices come from.
